Gumus Design Group worked closely with the leadership of Columbia’s Center for Global Studies Paris and the Institute for Ideas in Imagination, as well as an exquisite team including Exploration Architecture (Paris), Donald Kaufman Colors (NY and Paris), and Yve Ludwig Graphic Design to create a signage program that was integrated into the inspiring renovation, maintaining a French sensibility, and with specific code issues – French building codes, as well as the University’s mission to the highest standard of ADA code compliance and best practice based on the stringent New York City standards.
